How is HeartMath emWave® Pro/Plus or Inner balance sensor performed?
emWave®
HeartMath is performed using a small app device called an emWave. The emWave is a small device that looks like a tape deck (think back to the 1980s) with a strip of lights on the front surface. The device is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand comfortably.
Connected to the emWave is a petite sensor that connects to either your finger or ear. Once connected and turned on, the sensor detects stress levels within the body by monitoring your breathing patterns and heart rate. The goal is to teach the body how to shift from a place of stress (or incoherence according to the HeartMath experts) to a place of appreciation and peace (or coherence according to the HeartMath experts) using the emWave device. With continued use, emWave sessions improve stress, work performance, learning, communication, sports performance, chronic pain, chronic fatigue, and physical health.
